The committee has decided that the funds that we raise on the Race Night on the 26th of November , will be used to purchase a defibrillator to be stored at cuckoos nest.

We are sure that you will have seen some of the awful news bulletins about young sportsmen and women who's lives have ended way too soon due to sudden inexplicable heart failure.

The only chance for anyone who suffers that to survive, is to have a defibrillator attached and professional medical attention sought immediately.

We feel that the club should do everything it can to be prepared for such a situation and hope that we never have to use it but be safe in the knowledge that its there.

Again this is a further commitment that the club wants to provide a really safe place for everyone to enjoy a game of football.
